Another Big Night for Latinos on TV

L-r: Ricardo Chavira, Justina Machado, Mary McCormack
and Mike O’Malley Welcome to the Family

It’s wonderful to see so many programs with Latinos–often actually playing Latinos–front and center this season…but why are they all clumped on two weeknights? Thank God we have the DVR (and streaming video of most shows on most networks).

Aubrey Plaza redefines deadpan and has a great time doing it on Parks & Recreation, 8P on NBC.

Justina Machado, Ricardo Chavira, Joseph Haro and Fabrizio Guido shine as Welcome to the Family finally gives us a second episode, 8:30P on NBC.

Michael Trevino drains veins and breaks hearts on The Vampire Diary, 8P on the CW.

Sara Ramirez is more impressive than ever in a new episode of Grey’s Anatomy, 9P on ABC.

Lea Michele and Naya Rivera sing and/or dance their way into our hearts on Glee, 9P on Fox.

Ana Noguera is the producer with the mostest on The Michael J. Fox Show, 9:30P on NBC

Xolo Maridueña is one of the youngest member of the Parenthood family, a show that wins the week for best episode title: “Nipple Confusion” airs at 10P on NBC.

Guillermo Díaz scares the crap out of everybody on Scandal, yet again, at 10P on ABC.
