Here’s a New Trailer for “The Counselor,” a New Cormac McCarthy Film with a Huge Latino Cast

It’s been a decent summer for Latinos in feature films, but things get serious this Fall, when The Counselor premieres. The thriller is co-produced and directed by Ridley Scott, from a screenplay by Cormac McCarthy (his first original screenplay to make it to the screen). And it stars–among many others–a cavalcade of great Latino actors, including Penélope Cruz, John Leguizamo, Cameron Diaz, Rosie Perez, Rubén Blades and Javier Bardem. Oh, and up-and-comers Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender stop by as well.

The film tells the story of a lawyer, played by Fassbender, who finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking. Here’s the new trailer.

The Counselor is set to be released in the United States and Canada on October 25, 2013.
