Ghost Team One, opening Friday, wins the week for the most Latinos in a film and the oddest concept: “Two roommates deathly afraid of ghosts both fall in love with a girl who believes their home is haunted.” And that barely scratches the incorporeal surface of this film that seems to be part “found footage” and part sex comedy and part parody. Best of all, Latino newcomers and up-and-comers Carlos Santos, J.R. Villarreal, Fernanda Romero, and Tony Cavalero are the stars. Put in your earphones and check for eavesdroppers before you enjoy the trailer:
The producers have put together a pretty clever and content-rich web site as well. You can learn more and have some fun at GhostTeamOne.com. It opens in select theaters, on demand, and digitally on Friday, October 11.
