“The Real,” the Talk Show of Color, Will be Back Next Fall

Adrienne Bailon is one of the hosts that will return in 18 major markets in 2014

The Real was a feisty new talk show that tested on Fox-owned stations in major markets, including Los Angeles and New York, last summer. The reviews were good and the ratings encouraging, and now it will be back permanently, airing in 18 Fox-owned markets. Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Houston, Phoenix and Tampa and many others will carry the show, and the program will receive a second window on Black Entertainment Television as well.

Fans will be seeing Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie MaiTamera Mowry-Housley, and Adrienne Bailon in the panel-based program. Bailon, of Puerto Rican/Ecuadorian extraction, is the Latino of color in the mix, fluent in Spanish and proud of her heritage. (You may recognize her from her involvement in the Cheetah Girls franchise of the years).
