Humberto Guida of LatiNation calls Carlos Carrasco “the hardest working man in show business,” and he’s got a point: the Panamanian-born character actor has more than fifty credits to his name since the late 1980’s, and it’s clear: he’s just getting started.
LatiNation has been bouncing all around the schedule for the last few months, and that’s too bad: this Latinocentric interview/entertainment show has been producing some superior stuff in recent weeks…like this terrific interview with Carlos Carrasco.
You may not know the name, but you know the face. He’s been in everything from The Equalizer to the under-recognized Blood in, Blood Out to the recent Jason Statham/Jennifer Lopez action film Parker. He talks about playing “the bad guy” on film and everything else on stage, and offers some advice to young actors as well.
We’ll see him next in an episode of the upcoming mini-series Looking, with Raul Castillo and Frankie J. Alvarez, and in Janet Alvarez Gonzalez’ indie The Portrait’s Secret with a huge Latino cast including Maria de Lourdes Roja, Enrique Castillo and Ana Obregon, premiering in 2014.
Here’s the interview; look at much more on LatiNation’s web site.
