The other nighttime soap with Latinos in the mix is coming back Monday, February 24, and TNT is celebrating its return with a 25-hour marathon and bonus content the weekend before.
With all the news and controversy about Devious Maids, the other nighttime soap with Latinos in the cast (some even playing Latino characters) has taken second position…until now. TNT plans to change all that when Dallas returns Monday, Feb.24 at 9P, with an “enhanced” marathon of all 25 episodes from Seasons 1 and 2.
Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, and Marlene Forte are among the regulars in the popular reboot (last year it average 3.8 million viewers, almost half of them in the coveted 25-54 demographic). A wide assortment of other talented Latinos, including Juan Pablo de Pace, Alex Fernandez, Leonor Varela, and Castulo Guerra have appeared in multiple episodes as well. And TNT is pulling out all the stops: there’s a ‘social media component’ as well, with fan and character tweets appearing throughout each episode, and additional content on the Dallas Facebook page narrated by “John Ross Ewing.”
It all begins Sunday, Feb. 23 at 8P and runs straight through the premiere of the new season on Monday at 9P. If you’re a cable subscriber, you can get a head start (or backstart) with the last few episodes of Season 2, available online at tnt.tv.
