Christina Milian: All Over the Place (in a good way)

We checked in on Hulu this morning and found that they’re featuring a free replay of Christina Milian’s ABC Family holiday flick from last year, Christmas Cupid. (You can enjoy it, too, right here.) And that got us wondering…what is the beautiful and talented singer/actress up to these days?

Turns out–plenty, but most of it in preparation for a very big 2012.

If you were watching sharply, you caught her in an episode of CSI last February. Since then, she’s been working on an album and making big plans.

For one thing, it was announced in October that she’ll be the new “social media correspondent” for NBC’s mega-hit The Voice, which makes its second-season appearance this February. (She’ll be replacing G4 celeb Alison Haislip). She’s been working steadily on her (much-delayed, as yet untitled) new album–her fourth–with ex The Dream. And she’s deep in developing a new series, Maid in Miami, for ABC Family–a series that’s likely to debut sometime in ’12 as well. And having a baby daughter (Violet, about twenty months) could take up a bit of time, too.

You can keep track of her here, on her own (pretty thin) web site, enjoy her glitzy-“Prada”-like take on Dickens, watch her other Christmas movie, Snowglobe (also from ABC Family) only for free if you’re a Netflix subscriber, online-rent her Bring It On movie, American Pie or—our personal favorite—her first really good performance in Be Cool, all on Amazon Instant Video for $2.99 a pop here. Or you could just hang around a while and catch up with her in February, but one thing’s for sure: Christina’s been busy, and we’ll all be seeing more of her soon.
