Grace Parra: One Woman Show

Writer, performer, producer, host—Grace Parra doesn’t want something to happen; she wants it all to happen.

She’s barely into her late twenties, she’s only been in L.A. a few years, and she’s already in the middle of it, creating live performances, developing a TV series with Jennifer Lopez production company (having already written episodes of Jonas L.A. and Glory Daze), and popping up on the web in a variety of guises, including her Grace Parra 360 and Really Late Morning Show. We’ve been featuring this brave and bold young performer’s tweets here on Se Fija! for months (check out the right-hand column even now).

We were lucky enough to catch her amazing one-woman, multi-personality show, Sister Act 3, at the M Bar recentl,y and just a few days later we got a chance to sit down with her in a busy (and noisy) sidewalk cafe to talk about all the things she’s already doing and what she’s planning next.

You can see Sister Act 3 on Saturday Sept 8th and Saturday September 15th at 8pm at iO West Theater in Hollywood, California. Tickets are $5 for the half hour show. Follow Grace on Twitter (@GraceParra360), for info on ticket sales closer to the dates.

Grace is one of our favorite Latinas in L.A. Take a listen and she’ll be one of yours, too:
