Yet another Latino actor lands a supporting role: TV Guide reports that J.R. Ramirez has landed a recurring role on The CW’s new dramedy Emily Owens, M.D. He’ll be playing “A.J.,” a “confident doctor who returns to the hospital after a leave of absence hoping to get his job back. AJ, who was friends with Micah (Michael Rady), also has a bit of a conflicted history in the workplace with Gina Bandari (Necar Zadegan).” You’ve seen Ramirez before, most recently on GCB and 90210. His episodes will begin to appear in January.
