It’s been too long since Eva Longoria got in front of the camera and kicked a little butt, but that all changes on January 11, when she joins Natalie Morales (who’s just been added to the cast of the upcoming series The Trophy Wife), Billy Bob Thornton and Daniel Cudmore (Felix in the Twilight movies) in The Baytown Outlaws, a new action-adventure flick from writer/director Barry Battles. It’s a light-but-violent romp about three redneck brothers who agree to help a woman (Longoria) save her son from an abusive father…and who become targets on the run themselves from an odd cast of characters.
It shows up in theaters on January 11, but it’s available now through Video On Demand–for instance, here on amazon.com. Meanwhile, check out the trailer and see if it’s worth the afternoon…
