The romantic comedy, A La Mala, will be available on DVD on August 4. We got a chance to talk to the two leads, Aislinn Derbez and Mauricio Ochmann about the making of the film and how Aislinn kept asking the producers and director to keep auditioning other actors instead of hiring Ochmann. Since she wasn’t familiar with him, she thought there wouldn’t be any chemistry between them—and funny thing there were lots. Even after the film was done. Ochmann and Derbez have been in a relationship for years now.

The film follows an aspiring actress, Maria Laura (Derbez), who is begged by her best friend to flirt with her boyfriend to test his fidelity, and Maria Laura’s finds a new career. Then she gets a gig that will change her world.
A La Mala stars Aislinn Derbez, Mauricio Ochmann, Aurora Papile, Luis Arrieta, Juan Diego Covarrubias, Daniela Schmidt, even papa Eugenio Derbez has a cameo and directed by Pedro Pablo Ibarra.
