For this Valentine weekend there are only two films that got my attention, the first is based on the Marvel comic book, Kingsman: The Secret Service, which is a fun kickass film. I’m glad they kept some of the comic book feel.
I would watch these characters again if they planned on doing a franchise. The film stars; Colin Firth, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Strong, Taron Egerton, and Michael Caine.
On the romantic comedy side we have a foreign film from Mexico, Paraíso, executive produced by Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal. Starring Daniela Rincon and Andres Almeida as Carmen and Alfredo, Carmen pressures her husband Alfredo into starting a diet together, while at the same time discovering that the only thing that makes her happy is her newfound cooking class and friends.
