He’s got one of those faces, and you’re about to see it again, as Ben Stiller’s sidekick in the remake of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, opening Friday December 27
Adrian’s sunny face is almost certain to be familiar; he’s been in more than 80 film and TV projects in just the last few years, including but certainly not limited to American Hustle, Casa de Mi Padre and The Interpreter on the movie screen and TV shows like A Gifted Man and Flight of the Concords.
But Adrian’s a stage man as well. He was in Jose Rivera’s “Massacre” off-Broadways, as well as in two plays-“Our Lady of 121st Street” and “The Last Days of Judas Iscariot,” both directed by Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman. In fact, he’s been a long-time collaborator with Obie-winner Rivera, best known for The Motorcycle Diaries; he’s done productions and readings with him in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, and L.A.
And next, he’s in the sidekick business. This Christmas it’s The Secret Life of Walter Mitty with Ben Stiller and Kristen Wiig; next year he’s teaming up with Will Smith in Focus.
“Life has more imagination than we carry in our dreams,” Adrian says. He’s had a pretty remarkable run so far, and there’s clearly more just over the horizon.
