The ALMAs performed solidly for NBC last Friday, winning the time-slot’s coveted 18-49 demo and ushering in a two-hour block of Dateline: NBC that gave the network the win for the night. 2.9 million sets of eyeballs watched the show (more than watched anything on FOX or CW that night). Not a bad performance for a barely-promoted program sentenced to the double-graveyard of the late-summer, pre-season August or 8P any Friday night this year. Hopefully impressive enough for NBC to bring it back next year, bigger (and better-promoted) than ever.
