Aubrey Plaza Keeps Dancing on the Edge

Latina Actress Aubrey Plaza is always full of surprises, and her newest, “The To-Do List,” promises more of the same.

It’s not exactly a secret that Aubrey Plaza is just a li’l bit crazy…and she likes it that way. Just a few years ago, she was half in the shadows as April Ludgate on NBC’s Parks and Recreation, but since then she’s emerged as a rising star in her own right, and in The To Do List, she’s finally and fully taking center stage.

This time around she’s playing a bookish high school girl who goes off to college and develops a singular goal: to lose her virginity. It’s an odyssey–just like the trailer says–“from Straight A’s to Her First F,” and along the way she’s going to encounter more TV stars than you can count, from Saturday Night Live’s Bill Hader and Nashville’s Connie Britton to Hart of Dixie’s Rachel Bilson and Community’s Donald Glover, not to mention Agent Colson himself, Clark Gregg of the upcoming Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. superhero series.

A new clip from The To Do List surfaced recently, featuring Plaza, Hader, and a surprisingly funny Bilson...

…and shortly before that, Aubrey–always a crack-up on the talk shows–chatted about making the film with the folks at PopSugar…and especially about filming her first fairly explicit love scene and, um, self-love scene.

We’ll see how it all comes together, so to speak, when The To Do List premieres July 26.
