A little something for everyone in Latino Hollywood is on view in four very different DVD releases
It’s a fascinating quartet that shows you just how all-over-the-place Latino actors can be found in 2013:
Sanitarium is a set of three eerie stories of madness, with Walter Perez, Joseph Rivera, Jose Ruiz-Gonzalez, honorary Latino Lou Diamond Phillips and others in Sanitarium. And directed by Bryan Ortiz, Bryan Ramirez, and Kerry Valderrama.
And here’s a new western, Sweetwater–no, really, an actual western: “In the late 1800s, a fanatical religious leader, a renegade Sheriff, and a former prostitute collide in a blood triangle on the rugged plains of the New Mexico Territory.” And Eduardo Noriega is one of the many veterans in the mix, available December 31.
There was a time not so long ago that there seemed to be new casting news about CBGB every week. Then the movie came–and went–so quickly that most folks never got a chance to see the final product. Now you can: Everybody and his brother is in CBGB, the story of the infamous punk nightclub, including Freddy Rodriguez is now available on DVD.
And you’ll find Michelle Rodriquez playing in InAPPropriate comedy, on sales as a DVD Tuesday, December 31.
