Con Artists, a Drama, and the Supernatural in Theaters Friday

American Hustle is set in the 70s about some con artists, crooked politicians and even the Mafia. And in the mix of that you’ll find Michael Peña, Louis C.K., Adrian Martinez, along with Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, and Jennifer Lawrence. The film is based on a true story and will open nationwide on December 20.

In the serious drama category is Hours starring Genesis Rodriguez, Nick Gomez, J. Omar Castro and the late Paul Walker in his last film as a husband trying to save his wife (Rodriguez) in a New Orleans hospital during hurricane Katrina. Walker said, that this was his most emotional role to date.

In the supernatural we have Here Comes the Devil (Ahí va el Diablo) a Mexico/USA film. Starring Laura Caro, Francisco Barreiro, Alan Martinez, and Michele Garcia. It’s about a couple that looses their children while on a family trip near caves in Tijuana, Mexico. The kids reappear without explanation, but it becomes clear that they are not who they used to be…directed by Adrián García Bogliano. It’s in limited release.
