The National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) is gaining even more clout in Washington. The organization’s VP of Policy and Legal Affairs, Jessica González, has been appointed to the Federal Communications Commission’s Diversity Committee.
The Committee’d middion is to advise the FCC on policies aimed to enhance diversity in media and telecommunications, with a main focus on promoting universal broadband access by historically disadvantaged people, as well as to further their employment in the workforce of the telecommunications and related industries.
