Robert Rodriguez’ English-language cable network has begun work on its first hour-long script drama: a TV series based on Robert Rodriguez’ own action/horror flick from 1996, From Dusk Till Dawn. This time around, we’ll see D.J. Cotrona of G.I. Joe: Retaliation in the George Clooney; the only Latino we know of in a lead position is Jesse Garcia (Quinceañera, Sons of Anarchy) as one of the Texas Rangers chasing him around the supernaturalized state of Texas.
Ten one-hour episodes have already been ordered, and it’s being distributed internationally as well.
