She’s placed two more projects: a sitcom starring comedian Erik Rivera on NBC, and a drama series at Lifetime.
One thing’s for sure: Eva Longoria is not one to rest on her laurels…or rest at all. Deadline.com recently announced that her production company, UnbeliEVAbale Entertainment, has set up two more projects, a sitcom and a soap, this time with NBC and Lifetime.
The still-untitled sitcom, written by comedy vet Peter Murrieta, will star Erik Rivera, and will be based in no small part on his stand-up routine.
The Lifetime drama, Blackout, is a small town soap written by Elle Triedman, a writer on Revenge. It centers on a woman whose failed career leads her to return home after ten years to the small blue collar town run by her estranged siblings. She tries to make amends with her family and her past but the murder of a teenage girl forces her to face her own demons.
More to come, as the projects develop to pilot to screen–if they’re lucky.
