Thursday night has become the busiest (and best!) night of the week for Latinos on TV, both in regular roles and as guest stars. And this Thursday is no exception:
It begins at 8P, with Vampire Diaries on the CW and Camille Guaty continuing her arc, joining regular Michael Trevino
At 8:30P, Aubrey Plaza gets more charming than ever on Parks and Recreation on NBC.
At 9P, there are Latinos across the board:
Sara Ramirez on Gray’s Anatomy, ABC
Mia Maestro guest-starring on Person of Interest on CBS
Nina Lisandrello as a touch and beautiful Latina cop on Beauty and the Beast on The CW
Lea Michele, Naya Rivera, and Blake Jenner singings their hearts out on a new Glee on Fox
Oscar Nuñez finishing up a zillion years of comedic success on The Office on NBC
At 10P, Paula Garcés guest-stars on CBS’ new hit, Elementary, while we say goodbye to Alana de la Garza on the already cancelled Do No Harm on NBC (assuming they run the episode at all). And down the dial on USA, Suits brings us a new episode with Gina Torres in the middle of it all.
Think of that: nine hours of original programming on the TV networks (plus another original hour on cable), featuring Latino actors and frequently Latino roles, including one hour in which every single network is showcasing Latino talent.
Feels good.
