It may be “the worst kept secret in Hollywood,” as Simon Cowell himself has said, but it’s official now: Mario Lopez and Khloé Kardashian are the new hosts of “The X Factor.” They will debut with the first live show in November, and Cowell says, “I couldn’t be happier.” Which is important, since he’s not only a judge; he’s the show’s creator and one of its heavyweight producers.
Lopez has said, “I’ve been a big fan of Simon Cowell and the judges for a long time. Khloé and I have been friends for years and I know we’ll be a great team and have a blast.”
Congrats to the long-time Extra host. It’s a long way from Saved By the Bell for everyone, isn’t it?
