We attended an IMAX first look fan event of the next Transformers: The Last Night with director/producer Michael Bay in attendance. At the beginning of the intro video he said, he wanted his last Transformers picture to be visually amazing. Then he mentioned that they locked fourteen writers in a room and they came back with fourteen different stories. Does that mean we’ll see more Transformers?
In the meantime, we watched a few cuts of the upcoming film, which left me with more questions.
Is Optimus Prime gone? Humans and Transformers are at war. The key to saving the future lies in the secrets of the past and the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Now, it looks like the most unlikely alliance of an English lord (Anthony Hopkins), Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), an Oxford professor (Laura Haddock), and Bumblebee to the rescue.
Also starring Gemma Chan, Isabela Moner, Josh Duhamel, Stanley Tucci, Santiago Cabrera, Peter Cullen, Juliocesar Chavez, and many more.
Transformers: The Last Night is in theaters June 23, 2017 (USA). — A.O.
