On DVD’s NOW…

Elysium on DVD
Neil Blomkamp’s story of (literally) the higher-ups and the lower-downs comes to DVD December 17. There’s a strong Latino presence to the entire film, from concept to casting, including the presence of Diego Luna, and Alice Braga, not to mention class acts like Jodie Foster and this new kid, an up-and-comer name Matt Diamond or Matt Demon or something.

Ghost Team One! Finally on DVD!
Our favorite bawdy, ridiculous half-parody half-scary movie about the worst (and horniest) ghost-hunter team ever is out on DVD December 17. Grab Ghost Team One for your “great but unknown” collection. Fernanda Romero, Carlos Santos, and J.R. Villarreal will thank you, and you’ll be glad you did.

Kick Ass 2 Crashes onto DVD
John Leguizamo plays the thankless role of a real-world Alfred Pennyworth, the world’s best butler and/or enabler to psychopaths, in the mostly unsatisfying sequel Kick Ass 2, on DVD December 17. But there’s always Chloe Moretz, who once again Kicks ass. Literally.

Psych: The Musical Already on DVD
James (Rodriguez) Roday knows when he’s got a good thing: the two-hour special, Psych: The Musical only showed up on USA a couple of days ago, and it’s already available on DVD. The only question is: why did we have to wait seven years to get it?

Line of Duty (aka Mission Park) on DVD
Now on DVD with a name change, you can watch some really good performances by Joseph Julian Soria, Walter Perez, Jeremy Ray Valdez, Fernanda Romero, Will Rothhaar and many more in your cozy little home. “LINE of DUTY (MISSION PARK) is a film some thought would never get made. Well, it made it all the way to THEATERS!”—Douglas Spain, producer/actor. The film was independently produced and distributed. Directed by Bryan Anthony Ramirez.
