Oscar Isaac Sings Our Hearts Out

Guatemalan-Floridian-Julliard Graduate Oscar Isaac has been in a lot of notable films–The Bourne Legacy, Sucker Punch, Drive. In 2012 alone he was in four films–For Greater Glory, Won’t Back Down, Revenge for Jolly! and the aforementioned Bourne. And still, he hasn’t gotten quite the recognition he deserves.

Just before that spate of films, Isaac also appeared in the underrated rom-com Ten Years, with Rosario Dawson, Aubrey Plaza and a number of other terribly attractive people. In it, Isaacs got to show off his considerable musical talent as well (we caught a glimpse of it in Won’t Back Down as well), in a lovely song about a love that never quite was, sung to his never-quite-girlfriend from high school.  Here’s the song in its entirety. Enjoy!

It’s already obvious that ’13 and ’14 are going to be big years for Oscar. See him next in Thérèse (Therese Raquin) with hot young actress Elizabeth Olsen and the formidable Jessica Lange. And he’s just been cast in Mojave, the first big directorial effort of John Monahan, who wrote adapted The Departed and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, among other screenwriting efforts.

Good things comin’.
