Master storyteller Guillermo del Toro does it again; The Shape of Water is another masterpiece. Yes, I am a huge fan of his work and I can get lost in the worlds he creates. This film is beautiful to watch; it’s sexy and well-acted.

The Shape of Water is another-worldly fable, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1962. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment. Rounding out the cast are Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Doug Jones.
Doing one-on-one interviews are great but doing roundtables can be quite candid and fun. This past November we got to sit down with most of the cast and the director of The Shape of Water; where we got to hear some interesting takes of everyone’s characters and their approach to it. When We’re Together from Olaf’s Frozen Adventure
Frozen fans can now sing along with one of the newest songs from Arendelle. Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, a new 21-minute featurette, features four original songs written by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson. A lyric version of the featurette’s culminating song, “When We’re Together.”
“When We’re Together” is performed by Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, and Jonathan Groff, and is featured on the soundtrack, available now from Walt Disney Records. The soundtrack can be downloaded here.
Coco is a Sentimental Joy!
UPDATE: Coco surpassed Justice League for a Thanksgiving weekend box-office take domestically as of November 26 of $72,908,930. And smashed box office records in Mexico.
Coco has inspired me to start an altar at home for día de los muertos. It has all the right sentiments and many I share. It is funny, sad, and beautiful to watch. As usual, Disney•Pixar has done it again, a beautiful film that explains a beautiful Mexican/Latino family tradition and you don’t have to be Latino to understand it.

Ray Fisher and DC Justice League Are Winners!
I know they are many mixed reviews by critics about this Justice League but we don’t care. We enjoyed the film. We thought it was fun and entertaining, we even enjoyed Batman (Ben Affleck) for a change. And of course, Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) is still great to watch.
We thought everything and everyone just seem to mesh really well—and that DC Justice League is a winner.
