Sandra Echeverría: a beautiful woman on the edge

Sandra Echeverría is on the edge of making it big in the USA. The beautiful young woman is already a star in Mexico; she was the star of Marina, a popular telenovela on Telemundo and the hugely successful Univision telenovela La Fuerza del Destino; she’s had hit songs as part of the musical group called Crush, and even had a hit with the Destino’s theme song–a duet with Marc Anthony. And she was one of the stars of 2033, the first major science fiction epic financed and filmed in Mexico.

But that’s all last year’s news. Now Sandra Echeverría has signed on as the newest U.S. Brand Ambassador for Neutrogena, joining an impressive group of beautiful women encompassing a wide range of ethnicities and ages: Jennifer Garner, Vanessa Hudgens, Diane Lane, Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts and Gabrielle Union, to name just a few.

Mexican-born and fluently bilingual, Sandra’s looking at a pretty amazing year. Neutrogena will give her tremendous exposure, just as her next movie—Will Ferrell’s new film Casa de mi Padre–is set to premieres on March 16. And even more impressive, she has just completed shooting Oliver Stone’s next big film, Savages, where she’s starring with the likes of Benicio Del Toro, John Travolta, Demián Bichir and Mia Maestro—in which she plays Salma Hayek’s daughter.

Remember the name. We’re going to be hearing plenty for Sandra Echeverría in the months to come. (And if you’re a Netflix subscriber and you’d like to see her in 2033, go here and Watch It Instantly for no additional charge.)
