Six–Count ’Em, Six–Latinos are Part of “The Voice” this Season

We’ve mentioned before that the newest season of The Voice has a strong Latino contingent, even more so than in the past (and it’s always had a healthy number of Latinos in the competition). Now NBCLatino–which, we hate to admit, has been doing some nice entertainment journalism of late–has a detailed and enjoyable profile of the six Latino singers still in the competition. They are:

Julio Cesar Castillo, 21

Rudy Parris, 46

Joselyn Rivera , 17

Daniel Rosa, 21

Diego Val, 26

Laura Vivas, 33

Their roots range from Peru and Argentina to Mexico and Puerto Rico, but these American Latinos are all worth watching. Check out the full story here, and catch the continuing drama on NBC, Monday and Tuesday nights.
