Celebrity voices in animated movies has become a Hollywood tradition, and now Sofía Vergara, Jessica Alba and George Lopez are joining in, with parts in Escape from Planet Earth, the new comedy-sf adventure opening Friday. Alba plays the probably-not-even-a-little-bit Latino character “Lena Thackleman,” while Vergara’s character is named–we kid you not–“Gabby Babblebrock.” No comment.
