Dora and the Lost City of Gold is Fun to Watch!

The excitement is building for the live-action movie, Dora and the Lost City of Gold.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold transformed us to Saturday morning entertainment of days gone by. It is truly a fun family film.

We don’t want to give away anything but say, we enjoyed some of the cleverness of the filmmakers. Which made this film very enjoyable.

L-r: Longoria, Moner and Peña

Synopsis: Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner) for her most dangerous adventure ever–High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeff Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold. Also starring: Adriana Barraza, Temuera Morrison, Jeff Wahlberg, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden, and Danny Trejo. Directed by James Bobin.

The fun swings into theaters August 9.

We see director/producer Michael Bay and silliness with colleagues Louis Love and Lisa Grayson

We attended an IMAX first look fan event of the next Transformers: The Last Night with director/producer Michael Bay in attendance. At the beginning of the intro video he said, he wanted his last Transformers picture to be visually amazing. Then he mentioned that they locked fourteen writers in a room and they came back with fourteen different stories. Does that mean we’ll see more Transformers?

In the meantime, we watched a few cuts of the upcoming film, which left me with more questions.

Is Optimus Prime gone? Humans and Transformers are at war. The key to saving the future lies in the secrets of the past and the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Now, it looks like the most unlikely alliance of an English lord (Anthony Hopkins), Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), an Oxford professor (Laura Haddock), and Bumblebee to the rescue.

Also starring Gemma Chan, Isabela Moner, Josh Duhamel, Stanley Tucci, Santiago Cabrera, Peter Cullen, Juliocesar Chavez, and many more.
