We attended a special screening and panel for The Casagrandes. A reception with food and games for the whole family was enjoyed by all.

Then I caught up with some of the talent of The Casagrandes, Izabella Alvarez the voice of Ronnie Anne Santiago, Carlos Alazraqui the voice of Carlos ‘tío’ Casagrande and Miguel Puga supervising director/creator. We talked about the influences for the show and their voice work. How a show like this is very important. I find that sometimes animation can be a great tool to expand real stories in a fun over the top way.
Afterwords we sat through a panel that included Lalo Alcaraz (Cultural consultant) and Michael Rubiner (Producer).
