The remake of James O’Barr’s dark graphic novel The Crow has been in development hell for years now. Everybody from Bradley Cooper to James MacAvoy has been attached at one point or another, as well as a succession of directors. At the moment, only one thing seems semi-certain: Spanish-born F. Javier Gutierrez (Before the Fall, Brazil) is set to direct, and Tom Hiddleston, who’s played Loki in the Marvel movies, is currently in early talks to star. Still a long way to go; we’ll keep an eye on it.
