I realized after watching The Good Dinosaur that Pixar films are the modern-day Looney Tunes: fun films to watch. And for those of you who have no idea of what I’m talking about, Looney Tunes (Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Daffy Duck and so many more) was an animated series of comedy shorts produced by Warner Bros. from 1930 to 1969.
I enjoyed The Good Dinosaur. I found Arlo and Spot to be very cute and I even liked the Western feel to the film. The look of the scenery (trees, water) was very real, very impressive.
We got the opportunity to talk to the director Peter Sohn, producer Denise Ream and a few of the voice actors; Jeffrey Wright (Poppa), Raymond Ochoa (Arlo), Sam Elliott (Butch), Anna Paquin (Ramsey), and AJ Buckley (Nash). Listen in on the conversations by clicking on the audio boxes.
Other voice cast: Frances McDormand (Momma), Marcus Scribner (Buck), Jack Bright (Spot), and Steve Zahn (Thunderclap).
Disney•Pixar The Good Dinosaur opened in US theaters in 3D this Thanksgiving.
