Michael Peña, Rosario Dawson, and America Ferrera have been working on Diego Luna’s biopic of César Chavez forever and a day. Now, finally, we get a glimpse of the film, and it doesn’t fail to impress on any level–including what looks like a standout performance by John Malkovich.
Jacob Vargas, Yancey Arias, Maynor Alvarado, Claudia Vázquez, and a host of other Latino actors are part of the project as well; we’re sure to see more as the new year dawns and we approach the April 4, 2014 premiere.
